The city of Albi is luckily free of heavy visual pollution caused by an enormous amount of publicity or billboards and so any text in the public space is a bit easier to be noticed and read. The most common words I could find there were ‚A louer‘ (,For rent’, from French). I enlarged this text and put it on wheels. I walked around the city centre with it and I tried to place this object in front of the city icons like for example the Cathedral or the city theatre. The appearance of the text also represents some kind of political and economical struggle of the city, as well as, its availability and perhaps a brighter future.
